Shelly attended college at North Dakota State University for Civil Engineering and worked in this field for 5 years. She then attended Bemidji Beauty academy and secured a stylist position at Regis, St. Cloud, MN. In November of 2002 she opened Concrete Image salon in Waite Park, MN. She enjoys learning new trends, new fashion, and keeping her salon running smoothly. Having her own business was a long-term goal and she enjoys the tasks, hard work, and rewards that go along with it.

Shelly opened a salon because it was her passion to make people feel good about them self when they look in the mirror. Another of Shelly’s goals was to give the St. Cloud area an edge on the latest fashion trends in the hair industry, offering her clients something different and something they could not previously get in the this area. She feels that her stylists are top notch in every area and believes that treating the salons’ clients and employees with friendship and respect are the only way to make a business grow stronger. Concrete Image strives to make everyone feel welcome, important, relaxed, and happy with his/her service. Clients of Concrete image know that the stylists will stand behind their products and services.
